What’s a thrum? A bit of fiber worked into your knitting for extra warmth and cushiness. This technique has been used to make super-warm mittens in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, for hundreds of years. They know cold! Learn how to make thrums with wool roving, and how to work them into your knitting. We’ll be starting Thrumbelina Slippers in class; these slippers are super cushy and warm.
