Owls are back! I was a newlywed when owls were “in” the first time. They were made into everything from macramé plant hangers to ashtrays and canisters. Their colors were gold, orange, brown and green and so was everything else in our homes! Well, they are still cute and you can make them any color you want! Have fun making your owl bag!

Yarn Requirements: worsted-weight yarn, approx 440 yds of main color, 220 yds of accent, 65 yards of accent for beak & feet, and 65 yards for eyes. 

Accessories: Two 18mm cat safety eyes or buttons for eyes. 

Gauge: no gauge
Hook Size: N/13 (9 mm)
Difficulty: Intermediate
