Frequency Hat Pattern

Use this pattern to make hats
for the whole family - all you need to do is change yarn weight and/or needle
size! The cable pattern is incredibly stretchy and is quick and easy to work.
Yarn Requirements:
for kids' hat - dk-weight yarn, approx 150 yds (sample uses Cascade Dolce, color
#964)
for women's hat - light worsted-weight yarn, approx 150 yds (sample uses Cascade
Dolce, color #969)
for men's hat - worsted-weight yarn, approx 150 yds (sample uses Cascade 220
Paints, color #9826)
Gauge:
for kids' hat - 22 sts/25 rnds = 4” in st st on size 6 (4mm) needles
for women's hat - 20 sts/22 rnds = 4" in st st on size 7 (4.5mm) needles
for men's hat - 18 sts/20 rnds = 4" in st st on size 8 (5mm) needles
Difficulty: intermediate
Size: fits up to 19.5 (22, 24)"
