Learn to Weave - Rigid Heddle

Description:

Weaving on a Rigid Heddle Loom is fast and easy. Quickly weave scarves, washcloths, or placemats. Use it to sample yarn combinations faster than your table or floor loom. We will cover direct warping onto the loom, hem stitching, selvedges, and other tips and tricks along the way. 

Students will need to bring:
• Assembled Rigid Heddle Loom (or borrow one from us)
• 2 x 200 yard balls of plied fingering weight sock yarn or 1 x 400 yard ball divided into 2 balls
• 12 dent reed
• shuttle
• threading hook
• Warping Peg
• Waste Yarn
• Measuring Tape
• Scissors
• Pen / Pencil for taking notes
